Boy, this post is LONG overdue. I mean seriously, I should have posted this months ago. But better late than never, right? I need to hire an intern/assistant. I thought the ole bloggy would be a great place to get the word out. So here's the nitty gritty details:
Paid Internship Opening
Personal Assistant
Knowledge of Photoshop CS4 (or newer)
Adobe Illustrator a plus but not absolutely necessary
Spreadsheet software such as Excel or iWork
Knowledge of image processing
Familiar with blogging platforms & social media
Ability to produce print materials, newsletters, etc.
Strong planning & organizational skills
Must be able to attend production meetings in Riverside, CA
Some responsibilities will include:
Cataloging & organizing prop inventory
Assist with upcoming event details
Research and fact check for various projects
Assist with print related materials for projects
Travel to & assist on locations
Pick up & return of prop rentals
Light prop shopping
Occasional scouting
A flexible schedule is a must. The job is part-time and hours will vary. Photoshoots take place during work hours but other duties may not. Some work may be done remotely.
Must have a strong desire to work in the industry and be positive, energetic and self-motivated. You'll learn tons and have lots of fun while doing it! Don't worry I won't make you pick up my dry cleaning or get my coffee. But it would be nice if you like dogs...and a few chickens.
