We happened upon the most charming boulangerie located one block from our hotel. What a nice surprise! How can anyone resist not stopping in for a latte or cappucino? Mine had their signature heart swirl and The Man made his a Tic Tac Toe game.
Now, let's talk about the floors, the rattan chairs, the wood oven, the heavy wooden beamed ceiling, the sales counter......
the baguettes standing at attention in gorgeous baskets, the wall sconces on the mirrors, the enormous floor to ceiling bread display....
the hand made artisan breads in all shapes and sizes, the darling pots of Bon Maman jams....
and their scrumptious looking pastries of which we had none. Yes, none. But if I were to have had one it would be one of these Tarte au Citron, yummy no?
