Whew, blogging while on the road is easier said than done. Add to that, no internet service when I came home. We had a fantastic time and have lots to share with you. One of our first stops was going to the Tinsel & Treasures fanciful folk art show!
These artists are so talented and created such beautiful holiday items, it was very hard to choose which ones to bring home with us. These magical hats, boxes and crowns are the work of Donna. Everything she creates has such a timeless romance to it, love her work!
And Sylvia had plenty of holiday glittery goods. She made this moon face too, isn't it adorable?
Mixed media artist Connie Govea Stuart had a beautiful table filled with her lovely creations. I love how her items have a vintage feel to them.
Colleen Moody's artistic creations are utterly charming and she is just the same! I came home with the snowman in the center and can't wait to display it this holiday season. I could have bought them all! She also makes the most adorable dolls with exquisite details.
The coordinator of the show, Iva Wilcox had glittery ornaments, festive decorations, tags and so much more! Someone bought this bird piece before I could get back to it, lucky lady.
Gina Gabrielle's work is such fun! Her dolls are full of whimsy and delight and her table was full of vibrant color and cheery creations!
And last but certainly not least is the ever so talented Ulla Milbrath! There were dozens of scalloped pendant charms with vintage Halloween images, each one just as wonderful as the next. I enjoyed visiting with her and telling her how I wished I lived closer so I could come to her castle and take classes from her.
It was a wonderful stop on our road trip and Sweet Girl and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The ladies were so warm and friendly and I was happy to see so many shoppers snatching up their holiday goodies!
I'll be sure to take photos of what I bought from them to share with you. This fanciful show sure put us in the holiday spirit! I'm off to catch up on emails, pack orders, edit photos, etc., etc. Just wait till you see what's next on our Road Trip stop!
