Treasure Hunting at the Rose Bowl
Back by popular demand are photos from my flea market trip today. This is especially for all of you who are still stuck in snow flurries and gloomy weather. Let's go shall we?
There were plenty of colorful textiles today. Beautiful pillows, aprons, bark cloth fabric, tea towels and prom dresses are yours for the taking.
And there was row upon row of artfully displayed wares from the vendors all tempting you to let go of your cash.
For those of you who adore buttons this was the place to be. Tables full of button rainbows!
Now we can't forget to take a peek at our favorite vintage bottles and chandelier bling. They are hard to pass up. We can always use another chandelier, right girls?
Well, I hope this post brought a Smile to your face. My pocket book came home a little lighter, I made 3 trips back to my car to unload. I'll have to save my finds for another post if you'd like to see them. For now, I'm off to have some frozen yogurt and watch movies. Thanks for coming along today, it's so much more fun sharing it with you!

these pictures are heavenly to me!
my favorite place to go is a good flea market.
lucky you!

Oh my, I could go broke going to the flea market. To much temptation. Don't you just love it !!!
I would have to rent a truck if I went there. And if I did buy anything I wouldn't have a place to put it.
Oh, well I live in the Bay Area so it's not as great of a temptation.
Thanks for sharing again.

Would love to see your flea market finds. I have a mirror with a gold frame similar to the one on the chaulk board. I have just decided the frame would look so much better painted white.

Oooooh my! Heather you should be illegal!!! We have NOTHING like this where I live in Florida. I just added a post about my flea market adventures this weekend too....but it was nothing like yours. Such BEAUTIFUL and inspiring photos. It may be a good thing that I have no place like this to go to....can't image the damage I'd do to my credit cards if I was left unattended in a place like the Rose Bowl! xoxo ~ Joy at Cupids Charm

Oooohhh, I could just cry it's all so pretty! Though I did get to shop a tiny bit over the weekend. I read your article about the mannequin in Romantic Homes! How cool for you!! It's so thrilling when I see my blog friends in the magazines. I'm so proud to show the articles to my husband. Of course, it's not nearly as thrilling to him. Maybe if we put the mannequin in Porsche... =) Blessings... Polly

Wouldn't it be fun to have a small cottage and a challenge to decorate it out of one day's flea mkt. finds? It looks like you could put together a whole house out of that great flea market. Now that would be a few blog entries, wouldn't it!
