The Day at Sea
The Man and I took his new boat out this weekend. The weather was beautiful but the big ocean waves were another story! We we're rockin' and a rollin' and it was a sit still and hang on kind of ride! Let's just say, this beautiful flag went sailing into the water and he had to dive after it. Next to go in was one of his fishing rods, and again, he went in after it. I'm so glad I was able to stay in the boat! The waters look calm here because we were still in the marina, there was no camera action to be had once we were at sea.!
Even Bella the Boat Dog had a sense that this might not be a relaxing boat ride. I don't know if those ears went down the entire day.
But not to worry, this Captain won't let anything happen on her watch! She means business!
Your post paints a funny picture...I can just picture you & your dog hanging on for dear life while your man is diving left & right overboard. :D The one time I went out on the Pacific in a small boat I got very seasick 'cuz of the waves..it was also the time I had the brilliant idea to make a terry cloth 2 piece bathing suit, double layered for modesty...I jumped into the sea & practically sank to the bottom! Terry cloth absorbancy...what a ding-dong. hee-hee.

May you have calmer waters next time you are out in the boat. Bella is too cute, but she does look like she knows what's coming! :)

I had to comment as soon as I saw your Boston. How adorable! I have 2 of them and they keep me stepping along with my 9 year old son. My Bostons are Dudley and LULU. I also Love your blog! Great job! Angelina

I would have been so green...I can't even take my children on carousels I get motion sickness so badly.
