The Gift of Anthropologie
December birthdays can be a little difficult. I know because mine is 2 days after Christmas. My dear friend has one this week. So Friday I'm taking her to breakfast and giving her a little gifty from the dreamy Anthropologie. First, I have to let you know that their boxes are somewhat difficult to 'fold' together. I think you need to have a degree in box folding as well as arm wrestling to maneuver it into it's proper shape. To make up for it they give you beautiful tissue and this adorable little yarn ball bundle. Soooo cute. Cleverly tucked into the yarn ball is this.
A creamy felt snowflake to tie on and the teeny little gift card. How do they come up with this stuff? They must not sleep. Ever.
I could seriously spend hours getting lost in their dishes, linens, hardware, jewelry, candles, etc. You understand. Don't you? Sometimes their clothing and shoes can be a little too adventurous for me. But their handbags are amazing! I know there are those out there who have a love-hate relationship with this chain but you have to give them credit for giving us items we just don't see everywhere and blending modern and vintage with the most unique style. For me, aside from some of the clothing, it's a love-love.
On a separate note, I'm home today! All day! Baking a cherry pie (grand prize pie from Food Tv), doing laundry, chopping vegetables, cooking dinner, scrubbing floors, and wrapping presents. Call me Martha today. I'm having a blast. If the pie turns out delish I'll post a recipe later. Gotta go...timers are going off!

Pretty present, and sounds like a great day!
