Can You Bake A Cherry Pie?
Well, here's the Cherry Pie I mentioned yesterday. You'll have to excuse my lack of crimping skills, I need some serious practice. Here's the link from the recipe contest on Food TV Network. If you make the recipe I would suggest a few changes I made. First one, don't use all the juice that it calls for. I used only 3/4c and it was still running over, as you can see. Also, it calls for tapioca and I don't think they dissolved very well, so I would suggest cornstarch as the thickener. Then there's the crust...the glorious crust! Don't change a thing! And save every scrap and bake them with cinnamon sugar, you won't regret it. Enjoy!
On a another subject, Christmas vacation. I'll be leaving for Florida next week through the New Year and made myself a little bling purchase to wear on the trip. You know, in case I run into P.Diddy or J.Lo. After The Man removed about 4 links, I wore it for a test run shopping on Tuesday. A sales gal from PB stopped me in my tracks and asked me if it was the new Chanel one? Nope, Nordstrom's Brass Plum department 14.00 bucks! She looked a little disappointed. Maybe I should keep my mouth shut around P.Diddy.

I can not make pie crust to save my life....but, if you say this one is to die for, I might have to give it a shot! Looks great, hope you had fun being "Martha" for a day!
